What is a Senior Real Estate Specialist

The designation SRES® or Senior Real Estate Specialist is a REALTOR® who is qualified to service the real estate needs of homebuyers and sellers over the age of 50. This designation is awarded only to those members that have mastered the education program of the SRES® Council.

Achieving the status of a SRES® designation demonstrates that your REALTOR® has the necessary knowledge and expertise to advise clients age 50+ through the major lifestyle and financial changes that take place during relocation, refinancing and/or selling the family home. By receiving this special training and getting timely updates, your REALTOR® is equiped to offer the choices and information needed in making major lifechanging decisions.
