Both graduates from the University of Texas at Austin many years ago, my wife Jan and I decided in 1991 to move back to the Texas Hill Country in order to raise our two sons.
Life in Fredericksburg has exceeded our high expectations for a standard of living. The strong German work ethic demonstrated by the many well constucted homes and well maintained yards extends beyond the original community. Newcomers appreciate this atmosphere and have continued the tradition of well cared for real estate whether as a family home or investment. Community involvement in our schools, charitable organizations and a strong commitment to the cultural arts have created an environment that is both nurturing and congenial as well as sophisticated and stimulating. Both our sons (currently ages 17 & 21) say that being raised in Fredericksburg has been an incredible blessing. And while they are both well prepared and eager to go out in the world, both think favorably of returning to live someday in the Texas Hill Country.
Real estate was a natural choice as a profession for me because of my avid interest as an investor in the Fredericksburg and Texas Hill Country real estate market. Despite the recent downtrends in the National Real Estate market, Fredericksburg continues to draw the attention of investors and those considering a move to the mild weather and friendly nature of our town.
