More Than Just Honorable Mention in Fredericksburg Texas
Dec 03, 2009
Originally begun as a small museum in the Nimitz Hotel owned by his father, the National Museum of the Pacific War has grown into a well-established and respected institution. Per the request of Admiral Nimitz, the Museum also honors all others who have served in the Pacific. Opened in 1999, the much larger nearby Bush Gallery offers an extensive collection of information, memorabilia, and artifacts from the war in the Pacific.
This recent expansion of such a highly regarded gallery has only added to the panoply of the enriching experiences of life in Fredericksburg Texas. Take a moment to visit the website, National Museum of the Pacific War, and plan your next visit. Come see what Fredericksburg Texas has to offer!
